- Description
TF271-250 is a fast thyristor in stud design. It has a repetitive peak off-state and reverse voltage VDRM/VRRM 1000-1400 V. Mean on-state current ITAV 250 А. The thyristor has an industry-standard ceramic housing making it easy to integrate the device into existing equipment. The maximal junction temperature Tjmax is 125 °C.
Fast thyristors are characterized with a very low turn-off time that sets them apart from the standard models. They are used in welding, induction heating and melting, electric transportation, AC drives, UPS, and other systems requiring short turn-on and turn-off times. The thyristors have a sealed housing isolating the functional part and the semiconductor element from mechanical impacts and environment.
This thyristor has a stud design with a flexible power lead and pressure contacts. Stud thyristors are notable for their ability to be used on moving parts.
Power thyristors from Proton-Electrotex have the following features:∙ low static and dynamic losses;
∙ high values of VDRM, VRRM;
∙ extensive experience of using the devices in various industries;
∙ range of voltages from 100 to 6500 V and amperages from 125 to 5000 A;
∙ high resistance to thermal and electric cycling;
∙ natural or forced air cooling.
Proton-Electrotex is able to select the optimal power thyristor for given operation modes at the customer's request. It is also possible to ship ready-to-use power semiconductors in assembly with heatsinks.To buy the TF271-250 thyristor, request a quotation or ask for a technical advice, please contact our sales department by phone +7 4862 440455 or email marketing@proton-electrotex.com.
