Description of IGBT module MIAA-HB12SA-300N
The MIAA range of medium power IGBT modules features an industry-standard housing with a base width of 62mm, one of the most widely used and proven IGBT packages in the world. The widespread use of this form factor allows to use the modules in existing equipment without making any additional design changes. Mechanical ruggedness, high thermal cycling resistance and pressure contact design guarantee reliability and long service life of the devices.
The MIAA modules are based on modern Trench FS IGBT chips with high dynamic and static characteristics. The MIAA family currently covers the ICnom current range from 150 to 400 amperes for the VCES of 1200 and 1700 volt.
Users can choose various types of connection schemes – half-bridge, low chopper or high chopper (HB, LC, HC index in the name of the device, respectively).
The module is quick and easy to assemble due to the standardized housing and the pressure contact design.
The MIAA IGBT modules have a copper baseplate for optimal heat distribution and dissipation.
Dual-channel DI28-17-E-1 drivers are optionally available for the modules. They can be installed directly on the module or connected via a wired connection.
